Nashville – lots of music with a well done soap opera-like storyline.
Hometown – small Mississippi town, Laurel, renovations. surprisingly affordable and lots of doable remodeling, including a few homes in the $100K range. Inspiring.
    SNL
Heart Guy, Australian series, funny, light, kinda sappy humor
    West Wing

  9. Renee Lake SAYS...

  11. Mel SAYS...

I meant to put VAST and varied!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Sarah SAYS...

    OMG, so many suggestions! ๐Ÿ˜€
But there are some that I won’t recommend to watch unless you are 110% committed to watching it because you can easily miss things that are really important: Dirk Gentlys and Game of Thrones. Both are extremely good but in very different ways. But you won’t understand anything at all if you don’t watch with your whole attention on the screen.

And a suggestion from me, even though I don’t know if it’s available for you: Dr. Who! ๐Ÿ˜€

  13. Annabelle SAYS...

If you watch Inspector Morse you must watch Lewis. Better in my opinion but recommend you watch them in order. Endeavour is about Morse when he started in the 1960s. Enjoy.

  14. Betty Morgan SAYS...

Wow, that is some list!!! Hope you found some you liked.

  15. Sarah Fuller SAYS...

North and South on Netflix is good, too. Kind of a downer, but I couldn’t stop once I’d started.

  16. Alice SAYS...

As far as I can see, no one has recommended The Great British Sewing Bee! While this not available on Netflix, many episodes are available on YouTube. What better to watch while youโ€™re stitching?!
Thanks for compiling this list, Wendi!

  17. Tracy SAYS...

Chicago Fire and Chicago Med. Our current favourite is The Good Doctor. We binge watched the first series. The second series has just returned (in the UK) after a break, with the second part of a a two parter!

  18. Jill Collins SAYS...

If you have Acorn TV, I would highly recommend “”Brokenwood Mysteries.”
    Great list.

  19. How could I forget Jeeves and Wooster? So much fun!

  20. Solange Cotรฉ SAYS...
