I love your story about mopping the floor. My mom washed her kitchen floor at least once a week on Saturday…no matter how tired she was. But, that did not rub off on me. My daughter is grown with 3 boys and is a much more meticulous housekeeper than I, but when she was 5 or 6, she found me on my knees washing up the kitchen floor & said something similar to your daughter. It still makes me laugh to this day. Good to know I’m not alone. 😀
